Briallen is a postdoctoral fellow in the Doxey Lab. She received her PhD in 2020 from the University of Waterloo, where she studied bacterial genomics and metagenomics with a focus on functional annotation. Briallen is currently working on profiling bacterial communities from clinical samples and viral pangenomics.
