Emma joined the Doxey lab group in 2019 as an M.Sc. student after receiving her B.Sc. from UW in biomedical sciences and psychology. Her research interests include mitochondrial metabolism and genomic approaches to studying oxygen management systems of anaerobic eukaryotes, especially parasitic helminths. Emma will be continuing her research as a Ph.D. student in the Glerum lab starting Fall 2022.
